The internet is a structure that is made up of millions of
interconnected computers which allows users to communicate with each
other and share information. To connect to this network of computers, a
user needs an internet access. Regardless of location, a user can
quickly access information from internet.
So everywhere you look today, you’ll see internet address. An internet
address (specifically URL) specifies the location on the internet of
pages that present information about a company, group, an individual,
etc. Example of URLs includes http://www.scriptingmater.com,
http://www.scripting-mater.com, and http://www.scriptingmater.org, etc.
An internet information page is known as a webpage. A user can easily
and efficiently move between pages by following links. A web browser
allows users to access web pages. Examples of web browsers include
Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, etc.
To create a web page, authors use a markup language. The most common markup language is Hypertext Markup Language (HTML).

The scripting master name was hard to find. When I decided to create my own website that focused on explaining web technologies such as HTML, ASP, JavaScript, CSS, and more, I was trying to find an appropriate name that my students would find easy to remember and something that made sense. I recall thinking hard about what name to use. When I was ready to put something on paper for the domain-name, I came up with hundreds of names, most of them were decent but unfortunately they were all taken. Luckily, the domain scriptingmaster.com was available and it related to what I communicate with my website. So without further delay, I decided to keep this domain.
I have created the website primarily to help people to learn web technologies. The website covers topics for each subject in a sequential order.
What more is coming to the scriptingmaster.com?
The site will have information about using Cascaded Style Sheets, Dreamweaver MX 2004, an image-editing software such as Fireworks, and more. I will add all this and more as I get more free time….so stay tuned.
